Gagne to LA, 2 years – $7M

Simon Gagne will be reunited with former teammates Mike Richards and Justin Williams in Los Angeles next season after signing a two-year contract earlier today for a rumored $7 Million.   A former first round draft pick and two-time all-star with the Flyers, Gagne has amassed 276 goals, 288 assists and a daunting +131 rating over his 11 year career. The Flyers, who were believed to be in the running for Simon Gagne stated today that they were highly interested, but they just did not have the cap space available to secure the all-star winger.
