Let the Draft Deals Begin – Setoguchi, Liles, Smyth, Campbell
Brian Campbell of the Chicago Blackhawks has agreed to waive his no-trade clause for a trade to the Florida Panthers; coming the other way is defenseman Rostislav Olesz.
The San Jose Sharks traded Devon Setoguchi, Charlie Coyle, and a first-round pick (#28 overall) to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for defenseman Brent Burns and a second-round pick. Just days ago, the Sharks re-signed Setoguchi to a 3-year $9MM contract. Sharks GM Doug Wilson said the trade came up at the draft, and that, when he recently re=signed Setoguchi, had no intentions of trading him.

The Chicago Blackhawks have traded winger Troy Brouwer to the Washington Capitals for their first-round pick (#26 overall).
Teams: Avalanche, Maple Leafs
The Colorado Avalanche have traded defenseman John-Michael Liles to the Toronto Maple Leafs in return for their 2nd round pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. The Indiana native was drafted in 2000 by the Colorado Avalanche, where he has played his entire career. Liles has 68 goals and 207 assists for 275 points in 523 career NHL games.

Ok Let’s see:
Phaneuf, Gunnarson, Aulie, Schenn, Komisarek
, Lebda
, Lashoff, Finger, Gardiner, Holzer and now Liles.
So I guess that means Lashoff is not getting his shot this year, Gardiner is at least a year away and they must be buying out Lebda?
